About:

The Global Chef Hans Bueschkens Young Chef Challenge Africa & Middle East will be part of an extensive competition program taking place at the annual HACE hotel trade fair in Cairo. The week of events will be concluded on the November 2 with a glamorous Gala Dinner to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Egyptian Chefs Association.

The competition is open to all fully paid members of Worldchefs of the Africa & Middle East region. Rules, competition program and recipe card can be found at the link below.

Deadline for registration is 31 July 2017. The deadline to submit the menus and recipe cards 31 August 2017.

Competitors are advised to arrive on 28 October and depart on 3 November.

The Egyptian Chefs Association will be honoured with your presence and we will organize several sightseeing trips so you all have a chance to experience Egypt's rich history and culture and enjoy your stay! All you would need to do is prepare yourself for the competition and book yourself an airline ticket.

We also wish to invite any Worldchefs certified judges who wish to be a member of the judging committee and part of the celebrations to inform us by return email at the contact details below.
