Africa/Middle East Regional Selections - Global Chefs & Pastry Chefs
The Africa / Middle East Global Chefs Challenge qualifying event will take place in ADNEC in Abu Dhabi from the 12 – 14 th December, 2017. The event will form part of the main attraction at La Cuisine Du Sial 2017, running alongside other exciting competitions.
Chefs and pastry chefs competing in the GCC semi-finals will be judged by international A and B grade judges from the World Association. The event will follow a similar format to the global finals at the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018, so as we can get a close as to the final competition atmosphere – where the world’s best chefs meet to compete - as possible.
Regional rules and regulations will be similar to the finals. Chefs will be required to cook a 3- course meal, 4 plates of each in a timed kitchen.
Use of sponsored products will be mandatory. We feel this will give our competitors a great opportunity to show off their best, and will help prepare them for the world finals!
